The Chess Tempo app offers a convenient and user-friendly interface for accessing the features of Chesstempo.

Key features include:

- Chess Tactics Training: Enhance your tactical skills by solving a wide range of problems, with access to over 100,000 puzzles. These problems cover both winning and defensive scenarios. Premium members can tackle sophisticated custom problem sets that specifically target their weaknesses. These sets can focus on specific tactical motifs such as pins, forks, or discovered attacks, or they can repeat previously made mistakes until they are corrected. Additionally, spaced repetition sets are available. Note that custom sets must be created on the Chesstempo website before use on the app.

- Online Play: Engage in chess games against other Chesstempo users. The platform supports both live and correspondence games. After completing a rated game, players receive a comprehensive post-game analysis. The analysis is conducted by multiple instances of stockfish, ensuring high-quality results delivered in just seconds. Premium members have the advantage of extracting tactics problems from their own games, making them available for solving in the tactics training user interface through the advanced custom sets feature.

- Opening Training: Build and manage multiple black and white repertoires. Users can import existing repertoires from PGN or manually input moves onto the board. Repertoires can be trained using spaced repetition techniques and can be limited to a specific branch, single repertoire, or all repertoires of a particular color. Training depth can also be restricted as desired. The platform allows users to train against moves that prove to be the most challenging for spaced repetition learning. Additionally, users can comment on each position or move and read publicly available comments from others. Engine evaluations or annotations like "+=", "?!", etc., can be added to each move in the repertoire. Repertoires and associated comments and annotations can be exported to PGN format. Visual graphs provide insights into learning status and progress over time. The opening explorer feature facilitates move selection for the repertoire (limited to a depth of 10 moves for free members). Premium members gain the ability to use the cloud engine for analysis on any position.

- Endgame Training: Practice various endgame scenarios with positions extracted from real games, ranging from 3 to 7 pieces. Over 14,000 different positions are available. Free members can access two positions per day, while premium members receive additional daily positions. Custom sets can be created to target specific endgame types, repetitive mistakes in endgames, or to leverage spaced repetition for training. Please note that certain custom set types must be created on the Chesstempo website before they can be used on the app.

- Guess the Move: Deepen your chess knowledge by playing through master games and assessing the accuracy of your move selection against the master's moves.

- Analysis Board: Utilize cloud engines (premium membership required) to analyze positions efficiently without draining your device's battery. Diamond members can request up to eight analysis threads, significantly increasing the number of positions analyzed per second compared to an engine running on a personal device. Positions can be set up using FEN or by manually arranging pieces on the board with the editor. After completing tactics problems, users have the option to analyze them further in order to gain a better understanding of the solution.

- Premium Subscriptions: Monthly auto-renewable subscriptions are available for Silver, Gold, and Diamond memberships. These subscriptions unlock access to more powerful training features. Detailed information regarding features provided can be found within the app.

Subscriptions are managed through in-app purchases and are charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase. Renewal occurs automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period expires. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscription management and cancellation can be performed through your App Store account settings.
